Now, I can't be the only one motivated to purchase a magazine I don't necessarily read by the odd freebie, but when something this good comes around (and world's biggest girl crush Scarlett Johansson just so happen to be gracing the cover) I have to stop myself picking up an armful of copies. Todays bargain comes from Marie Claire's December Issue which includes a full sized Rituals Sweet Orange & Cedar Fortune Scrub - plus and incredibly comprehensive 23 page spread all about skincare which is worth the buy in itself.
If a warm, cosy Autumn evening could be summarised in a scent then this would be it. Musky, but undercut with the sweetness of citrus it's definitely a fragrance that lingers long after you're towelled off and bundled in pyjamas. The formula is nice and grainy, suspended in a rich cream which packs in a deep exfoliation while moisturising dehydrated skin at the same time. Already the happy owner of the Rituals Fortune Oil* from the same range, these two work together as a shower dream team.
A freebie definitely worth the better-than-half-price splurge of £3.90 for the mag - on second thoughts, maybe I will nip back to Tesco before they're all gone!
