My New Year's Eve Make Up

So it's that time of year again when the glitter and alcohol come out in equal parts as we ring in the New Year. I know this video is coming to you a little late but if there's anyone struggling for ideas hopefully you can get a some last minute inspiration from what I'll be wearing tonight. I hope everyone has an amazing time, whatever you might be up to and I'll see you all next year!

New In My Wardrobe

Happy Christmas everyone! I hope you've all had an amazing time and indulged as much as I have! I can't really motivate myself to do anything but sit around watching Christmas specials and eating more chocolate than any human being should! I've been such a lucky girl this year and I'm so grateful for all my amazing friends and family that have spoilt me far more than they should have. I know there's going to be lots of these kinds of posts but nosey me loves them so I'm sure some of you will too. I hope wherever you are you're having a great time and enjoy the rest of the holidays!

Top: Zalando*
Trousers: Primark
Jacket: Influence @ New Look
Shoes: Zara
Bag: Marc B*
Watch: Daniel Wellington*

I finally jumped on the peplum bandwagon today after kindly being sent this top from Zalando (the other Asos) for a bit of last minute Christmas shopping. Although it's made of t-shirt material, its quite thick and snug, so it keeps it's shape well while being nice and cosy!

I can't actually believe it's only four days to go! Now that we've averted the end of the world anyway.. Anyone who works in retail should know that getting any time to shop, let alone enjoy Christmas is pretty much impossible, but luckily I've just about managed to get all my presents bought and wrapped. A quick word of advice though; don't wear heels while anywhere near a shopping centre in the month of December. No matter how beautiful they are, it will be traumatic.

I'm going to be spending the few days I have off at my parents house and I really can't wait. Even at 20 I still behave like an overexcited child at this time of year!

Christmas Wishlist

1, 2, 3, 4, 5

01. These Cath Kidston tins are so adorable, I think they'd be perfect for putting jewellery and make up bits in rather than stationary.

02. I've been loving all of Diptyque's scents for so long now, but still have yet to decided which my favourite is. I love the idea of this little travel set to try out the fragrances for before making the big purchase of a full sized perfume.

03. Another Diptyque item on the list! I think Pomander optimises the smell of all things Wintery and festive, perfect for this time of year.

04. I was so against iPads when they came out, but ever since buying one for Darren last Christmas (and 'borrowing' it rather frequently) I've really wanted one of my own! Since trying out the mini version in the Apple store I think it would be perfect for catching up with blogs and writing posts on the go.

05. I love the idea of anything that helps aid sleep as I never seem to be able to nod off no matter how tired I am. The Dream Team from This Works contains a soothing pillow spray and a concentrated roll on.

06. I've been desperately wanting this perfume for months now. It's the perfect spicy oriental kind of scent which I love wearing during the winter. Fingers crossed for this one!

What's on your Christmas list?

Items on my wishlist include: this stunning Gold Beaded LDB and Neon Collar Drop Waist Shift.

Marc B: Marc B fils the gap in the market for middle-range affordable bags that maintain the quality and design of a super-deluxe product. Now found in stores across the country including Topshop and online. I'm loving all of their berry coloured designs.

This has really been my favourite online store this year as I never fail to find something I love within minutes. Items on my wishlist: this cosy looking Tweed Oversized Coat with Faux Fur Collar and amazing Studded Ankle Boots.

Jolies Choses: A fashion and beauty blog penned by one of my oldest school friends, Gem; Jolies Choses is still getting off it's feet but promises to be a great beauty based blog with a touch of Gem's great style and hilarious antics in there too.

Krystalklear Looks: Tasha is a 20 something Blogger and YouTuber from New York. Her blog is full of great beauty reviews, tutorials and fashion posts with a little bit of her everyday life thrown in (my favourtie sort of blog!). I love her red lip tutorial using MAC's Ruby Woo which you can check out here. Perfect for the current party season!
