For a long time I've been looking for the perfect summer jumper (although that seems a little irrelevant now thanks to the horrendous rain). I was torn between the Topshop neon knits and something pastel, until I stumbled across this beautiful mint green waffle knit on Ark Clothing. I'm not even sure how I ended up there but everything on their site is amazing. I've got my eye on a quite a few things including the lilac version! It looks a lot more blue here than it does in real life for some reason, but its an amazing colour.
Today I've been back to work, real work that is. I get a lot of people asking me questions about working in beauty and how much fun it must be playing with make up all day but in truth its a lot less exciting and a lot more about selling and customer service that I think most people imagine. Although I probably shouldn't be saying this on the internet where anyone could see I'm getting a little tired of the early starts, late finishes and overall exhaustion of retail. In a dream world I'd love to be able to make a living doing what I feel most passionately about, which is talking about beauty, without having to necessarily sell it! I'm not quite sure what the point of this little ramble is, and I'm not trying to discourage anyone from working on a beauty counter but hey-ho, thats how I feel.
